We're Back In Hawaii
I found it very humbling being in Japan for three years and only having the opportunity
to make the trip out to Niigata three times, but only once to hunt for koi. Nonetheless, even if I found koi to purchase,
I didn't have the facilities to house such a creature during my stay in the country or have a easy way to bring them back
to the states with me. Still living in Japan and touring the country was a "Priceless" opportunity for me and my family.
Here are our first two real beginner class nishikigoi from Niigata obtained from a local
dealer. A Female Sanke and a Male Showa. Koi that were cheap and had some sense of merit in my eyes. Bottom line for me
is the conformation and length of body on the two koi.
